Dear COST Action Chair,


Thank you very much for supporting our petition for a stable and sufficient 
budget. We are now
at over 4100 signatures, and have collected enthusiastic testimonials. We would 
kindly ask you
to continue sharing our petition within your network.

This petition is part of our campaign started in the context of the 
negotiations for the
European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), drawing budget from Horizon 
2020. The COST
Framework is indeed facing a budget cut, which would impact the number of 
future COST Actions
and most likely lower the funds available per COST Action.

The Committee of Senior Officials, our governing board, published an official 
statement (please
see attached), shared with European policy makers.
