I am forwarding the announcement of a new series of PhD schools in hep-th, launching this year in Split. The school is organized after the Modave model, with intense program, cheap accommodation and PhD students themselves organizing the school and picking the lecturers. It promises to be quite good. Bear in mind the deadline is near - September 13, so hurry up if you're interested.

The applications for the Adriatic Doctoral School - Courses For Theorists are now open! 

This one-week doctoral school in theoretical high-energy and mathematical physics will take place from October 4-11, at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MedILS) in Split, Croatia.

The programme is fully residential, with accommodation and meals included. The only cost for the participants is the registration fee in the amount of 490 €.
