Subject: WYP2005 - Preparatory Conference


Dear Colleague,

as you are certainly aware, 2005 has been declared the World Year of
Physics by IUPAP, following a resolution passed by the World Congress of
Physical Societies in 2000.
To stimulate the preparatory process for WYP2005, the Austrian Physical
Society will hold an international conference from July 6 to 9, 2003 in
Graz, Austria, information on which is included in the attached circular.
By February 20, 2003 a website devoted to this conference will be available
at http://www.kfunigraz.ac.at/exp8www/wyp2005.

I would be glad to welcome you all at the 1st Preparatory Conference for
WYP2005 in Graz in July.
