Dear Colleague,

The 37th Conference of the European Group for Atomic Spectroscopy (Systems)
will take place at Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland, Wednesday
August 3rd to Saturday August 6th, 2005 with a welcome reception on the
evening of Tuesday August 2nd.

 1. PLEASE NOTE THE DATES WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE USUAL MID JULY
PERIOD !

 2. Please visit the conference URL http://www.egas37.org for details of the
invited speakers, conference site, etc.

 3. Please pass this preliminary announcement on to colleagues and
collaborators that you believe may be interested in participating in the
37th EGAS Conference.

EGAS conferences are broadly based events and cover all aspects of atoms
including their interactions with photons and allied fields. The conference
programme consists of invited plenary talks followed by contributed talks
chosen from the submitted abstracts and organized into two parallel
sessions. There will also be two poster sessions.

We encourage contributions from a wide range of fundamental and applied
fields such as atomic structure, photoionization dynamics, precision
measurement and spectroscopy, anti-atoms, small molecules, ultrafast systems
and processes, BEC, quantum confined systems, quantum-ICT, atoms and small
molecules in high fields, plasmas, instrumentation and spectroscopic
applications in e.g., astronomy and astrophysics, environmental monitoring,
medicine, process control, etc.
