Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to inform you that we received about one hundred fifty 
applications on the first announcement concerning ICOM2009 Conference 
(International Conference on Physics of Optical Materials and Devices 
ICOM2009 - Hotel Plaza, Herceg Novi, Montenegro, August 27th to 30th 2009, 
www.icomonline.org). Applications arrived from many countries and the topics 
of proposed presentations promise an exciting and fruitful Conference. 

The Conference will be organized in a workshop style, composed of several 
plenary sessions. At the beginning of each session Invited lectures will be 
given by the leaders in the field. We are pleased to announce that many 
distinguished scientists confirmed their Invited talks at ICOM2009. The list 
of Invited Speakers can be accessed via ICOM2009 website 
(http://www.icomonline.org/28.aspx).

Due to a number of requests and because of some technical problems during 
ICOM2009 Registration and Abstract submission, the Organizing Committee has 
decided to extend abstract submission till Friday, 22 May 2009.

For those who have submitted abstract/s the List of received abstracts will 
be available soon on the ICOM2009 website. Please check to verify that your 
submission/s is properly evidenced. 

For those who have not submitted abstract yet, we remind you that abstract 
can be uploaded on ICOM2009 website after registration or by email: 
mailing at icomonline.org

We suggest that participants make early reservation for hotel accommodation 
since it is tourist season at the time of Conference.

Organizing Committee has reserved a limited number of rooms with the special 
conference rate (see ICOM2009 website for prices) in Hotel PLAŽA.
