Dear colleagues, 

We want to remind you that the 18th Symposium on Condensed Matter Physics (SFKM2011) will be held in Belgrade, Serbia on 18 - 22 April 2011.

The Symposium will consist of invited lectures, contributed short oral presentations, and posters sessions. A special session is planned on Monday April 18, 2011, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts, to celebrate 100th anniversary of the discovery of superconductivity and 25th anniversary of the discovery of high-temperature superconductivity. Subsequent sessions will be held at the Kolarac Foundation building. A conference excursion is planned on Wednesday April 20, 2011.

Deadline for registration is February 15, 2011; Abstract submission deadlines is March 15, 2011. Registration fee for regular participants is 150 EUR or 15000 RSD but for students the conference fee is 50 EUR or 5000 RSD.

In case of financial need and based on availability of funds provided by conference sponsor Brookhaven National Laboratory, the registration fees for a limited number of students and other participants who cannot afford it otherwise will be covered by the conference organizers.
