The blazar BL Lacertae was intensively observed on intra-night time scale during its recent 2020-2021 outbursts. The object was monitored for a total of about 290 hours during 65 nights in 4 optical bands (BVRI) as well as polarimetrically. Significant, both flux and polarization variability was observed during many of the nights. Variability characteristics, color changes, inter-band time delays are discussed in terms the physics of the relativistic jets.
