"Turkish Physical
Socity 2nd Summer School on Particle Accelerators and Detectors" will be held in
Bodrum/Turkey, between 18 - 24 September , 2006.
Turkish Physical Society has decided
to organize summer schools on “Particle Accelerators and Detectors”
starting with the World Year of Physics 2005 activities. In the framework
"Turkish Physical Society 1st National Summer School on Particle
Accelerators ” was held during 4-9 July 2005 in Ankara
University.
In the first summer school,
lectures were mostly on topics of accelerators, This year we plan to
cover mostly topics related to detectors. Hereafter, accelerator and
detector courses will be emphasized alternately in this summer school series.
Furthermore, during the summer school, theoretical courses
will be given in the morning session while the experiments will be performed
afternoon.
