Dear colleagues

We present to you the second edition of the CNP-eNotes - Centre for Non-equilibrium Processes electronic newsletter. In this issue you will find information about forthcoming Workshop on Non-equilibrium processes in Plasmas and Environmental Studies and GELDC: The Gaseous Electronics Laboratory Data Centre. We hope that the newsletter will be informing and useful both for people that will join us for this Workshop and for those who will follow our activities from remote places. Nevertheless you are welcome to join us in our efforts to improve networking and international collaboration in scientific activities.

Laboratory Data Centre
The Gaseous Electronics Laboratory Data Centre (GELDC) is devoted to collection, compilation, evaluation and dissemination of collision and transport data of charged particles in neutral gases relevant to various scientific and technological areas. Our database provides users with easy access to transport and collision data for electrons, positrons, positive and negative ions in neutral gases. These data are indispensable for plasma modeling, diagnostic or data analysis in low-temperature plasma reactors and plasma experiments.
