Abstract. The abstract is not required for Contributed papers. If included, should be typed in the same manner as the body text (see below). Please note that these Instructions are typed (as much as HTML allows) just like the manuscripts should be.

1. INTRODUCTION

This paper contains instructions for preparing manuscripts for the 20th SPIG, that are: Invited lectures (one page abstract, before June 1st, and max. 20 pages full text, to be submitted at the Conference), Topical invited lectures and Progress reports (both one page abstract, before June 1st and max. 16 pages full text, to be submitted at the Conference) and Contributed papers (max. 4 pages, before June 1st). 
        The text should be prepared in camera-ready form, and submitted in two identical copies. It should be printed on the laser or quality 24-pin matrix printer. The text should be printed in a frame of 25.4´16.0 cm. The reduction at 75% of the original size should be considered.

The text should be typed as follows: 
  • title: Times New Roman, 14 pt, ALL CAPS, bold, 1.5 spacing, centered.
  • authors? initials and family names: Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, 1.5 spacing, centered.
  • affiliation(s): Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold italic, 1.5 spacing, centered.
  • abstract: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, justified; the word ?Abstract.? should be bolded.
  • body text: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, justified; paragraphs in sections (except the first one) should be indented right (tabulated) for 1 cm.
  • section titles: Times New Roman, 12 pt, ALL CAPS, bold, 1.5 spacing, left, numerated in Arabic numbers (except ACKNOWLEDGMENTS and REFERENCES), one line should be left blank above and below section title.
  • subsection titles: Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, 1.5 spacing, left, numerated in heading numbering style in accordance to the section (e.g. 2.1., see below), one line should be left blank above subsection title.
  • figure captions: Times New Roman, 11 pt, single spacing, centered (if one line) or justified (if more than one line), below figures; one line should be left blank below figure captions.
  • table captions: Times New Roman, 11 pt, single spacing, justified, above tables; one line should be left blank below tables.

2.1. Additional instructions
Numerated figures and tables should be inserted in the text. Only black and white drawings and sharp photographs are acceptable. Figures should have large characters, easily legible after reduction at 75%. Each page of the manuscript should be numerated by light pencil in upper right corner. 
        References should be numbered in brackets in the order of referring in the text, e.g. [1]. The full references should be listed in numerical order of citation in the text at the end of the paper (left alignment, hanging indentation, see below). The titles of books, journals and proceedings should be italicized, and the volume numbers bolded.
