Subject: Converge online with Perimeter Institute this month

Dear Colleague,

These are wonderful times for physics: from the LHC to the Planck satellite, experiments are revealing the universe with unprecedented clarity. Can we develop predictive, consistent
theories which explain the observations and solve the big puzzles?

>From June 22-24, Perimeter Institute will be hosting Convergence, a new kind of physics conference that takes a “big picture” look at the frontiers of physics.

Convergence will bring together many of the world's leading physicists to discuss the field's most exciting ideas and chart a course for the future.

>From June 22 to 24, Convergence talks will be webcast live online, and viewers everywhere are invited to join the conversation through live-chats, social media, and online discussions.

Convergence lecturers and panel participants include:

Immanuel Bloch, Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics
Patrick Brady, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Avery Broderick, Perimeter Institute & University of Waterloo
Freddy Cachazo, Perimeter Institute
Savas Dimopoulos, Stanford University
Matthew Fisher, Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics
Ruth Gregory, Durham University
Nergis Mavalvala, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Peter Olver, University of Minnesota
John Preskill, California Institute of Technology
Jürgen Renn, Max Planck Institute for the History of Science
Subir Sachdev, Perimeter Institute & Harvard University
Sara Seager, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Kendrick Smith, Perimeter Institute
Robert Spekkens, Perimeter Institute
Maria Spiropulu, California Institute of Technology
Paul Steinhardt, Princeton University
Natalia Toro, Perimeter Institute
Neal Weiner, New York University

I encourage you to sign up here to converge with us from June 22 to 24, and to share this opportunity with your friends and colleagues. Join the Convergence Facebook group to keep up with
Convergence news and discussions; follow @Perimeter on Twitter and join the conversation with the hashtag #piCONVERGE.

Best wishes,
