Dear friends and colleagues,

 

I unfortunately got a sad new. I am writing to let you know that our colleague John Madore passed away in August. John made salient contributions in the area of noncommutative geometry
applied to Physics among them the pioneering paper Phys. Lett. B217 (1989) 417 written with Dubois-Violette and Kerner.
He will be deeply missed.
