Please find herewith the announcement of the 2016 Schladming Winter School of Theoretical Physics. It will be held during February 21st – 27th, 2016 in Schladming, Austria (arrival day: February 20th, departure day: February 27th).

The theme of the School is

"New Trends in Particle Physics, Quantum Gravity, and Cosmology"

With the discovery of a SM-like scalar boson at the LHC and no further clear-cut observation of new phenomena at the electroweak scale the quest for a natural description of the microcosm has become even more challenging. Evaluating new theoretical frameworks that UV-complete the SM or benchmark BSM investigations fascinates physicists across the various communities, including those involved in model building, particle phenomenology, quantum gravity, cosmology, and formal theory. Key speakers will address pertinent topics from different angles. Contributed seminars by participants and a poster session will complete the event.
