SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

CONGRESS SITE

The 13th International Congress on Plasma Physics (ICPP 2006) 
will take place in Kiev (Kyiv), Ukraine, from May 22 to May 26, 2006. 
Congress organizer:
Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics (BITP) 
of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 
ICPP 2006 will be held in the building 
of the Institute of International Relations 
of the Kiev Taras Shevchenko National University 
(36 Melnikov st., Kiev).

PARTICIPATION, PAPER SUBMISSION

The participants are kindly invited to fill in the PREREGISTRATION form
(at your earliest convenience) 
and to submit abstracts (1 page, before March 1, 2006)
and four-page contributions (before April 1, 2006) on any of the below topics

A. Fundamental Problems of Plasma Physics
B. Fusion Plasmas
C. Plasmas in Astrophysics and Space Physics
D. Plasmas in Applications and Technologies
E. Complex Plasmas.

The authors will be notified on the acceptance and status of the 
presentation 
(oral/poster) 
on March 15-16, 2006.

The Book of Abstracts will be handed to the participants on the first day of 
the Congress.
Contributed papers will be distributed in electronic form (CD and Website).
Invited Papers will be published in a special issue of Plasma Physics and 
Controlled Fusion.
The Invites Speakers are kindly asked to submit their papers on the first 
day 
of the Congress
(10 and 8 standard journal pages for Plenary and Topical Review Papers, 
respectively).

REGISTRATION FEE

360 Euro (before April 1, 2006)
400 Euro (after April 1, 2006)
150 Euro (for students)

Payment transfer details will be notified in January, 2006.

For registration fee reduction please send an application 
indicating your name, country, date of birth, affiliation, position
to the Local Organizing Committee.

The Local Organizing Committee has agreements with a variety of hotels
to reserve rooms for the ICPP participants.
