Polymer Physics

Dear colleague,

Our laboratory has been accepted as a “Marie Curie Host Fellowships for 
Early Stage Researchers (EST)” by the European Union, for a training 
programme on “Emergent Phenomena in Condensed Matter Physics: from the 
macro- to the nanoscales”.

*We offer thus 15 PhD positions* funded by 
the EU on topics covering all aspects of condensed matter physics, with 
an emphasis on soft-matter and biophysics; correlated fermions; and 
nanophysics. The PhD thesis might start at any time between december 
2004 and november 2005 and the student should have graduated in any 
european country or associated country. You will find more detailed 
information on our web site:

*We emphasize that several positions concerned soft condensed matter, 
physical chemistry, or polymer physics*. We would be very glad to welcome 
students from your university, which would be also an opportunity to 
tighten the relationships between our institutions.
