Subject: Conference grants

Dear colleague,

Please pay attention to the folloving information:

The Swiss National Science Foundation provides grants for participants from 
Eastern European countries for conferences organized in Switzerland. 
The application has to be made by the organizers within Switzerland 
on behalf of interested participants under the usual criteria 
(preferably under 45, contribution to the conference) and at least 
three months before the conference (11 April for EPS13). 
Flat rates of 1000, 1500 and 2000 Sfr are given depending on the
distance from Switzerland and on the basis 'first come, first served'. Up to
10000 Sfr are given per conference. The information is accessible at the
