Apologies for the spam but this might be of interest as it relates to
LSST research and development. UW is looking to hire a faculty member
in e-science as part of its eScience Institute (data intensive
science, machine learning, computational astronomy/biology etc). LSST
related work is a very natural fit for this position. The position is
at any level from assistant to full professor with the potential for
leading the newly formed eScience Institute.  The deadline is the 31st
of Jan and details can be found at http://escience.washington.edu/
search. If you know anyone who might be interested or would be a good
fit please let me know.
