Hello good friends,
Another hangout taking place next Friday. Join us :-). All the
information bellow:
You are cordially invited to the second Open Discovery Space Webinar
"Lessons from comet ISON's journey". The event will take place on
Friday
December 13th at 14:30 (CET).
_Most of the comets we see are visitors from the past who are making a
return journey around the sun. Every once in a while, however, a new
comet is born. Comet ISON was one of those rare, pristine comets.
During
this Hangout, you'll hear about how Comet ISON was dissevered, what
makes it special, and why everyone thought (wrongly!) that this comet
just might be the next bright thing to shine in the sky._
The webinar will be delivered by DR PAMELA GAY from NASA. Dr Pamela L
Gay is an astronomer, writer, and podcaster focused on using new media
to engage people in science and technology. Through
http://CosmoQuest.org [1], she works to engage people in both learning
and doing science.
