Latest developments in neutron reflectometry  at Jülich Centre for Neutron Science

Apstrakt:
We will present the Julich Centre for Neutron Science (JCNS), one of the leading neutron scattering laboratory, operating 14 instruments belonging to the best in the world in their classes.  JCNS is undertaking significant efforts in developments and upgrade of its instrumentation, thus allowing to keep it in line with continuously changing scientific request.
Especial emphasis in this talk will be made on neutron reflectometry, namely on a new neutron reflectometer designed for the incoming European Neutron Spallation Source (ESS). Due to a high peak neutron flux of the ESS and dedicated design, this reflectometer will outperform existing ones by more than order of magnitude, thus opening unique opportunities for studies of interfaces in solid-state, soft matter and biological systems.
