work performed in Radiation Laboratory, University of Notre Dame, IN,
USA 

 Methylammonium lead iodide perovskite (MAPbI3) has been
intensively investigated in recent years, representing a prototype
material for potentially high-efficient and low-cost organic-inorganic
solar cells. However, an important issue that still needs to be
addressed is the long-term stability of these materials. Here we report
an unprecedented study on low-energy electron-induced degradation of
MAPbI3.
