Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the 26th International Conference on Spectral
Line Shapes, ICSLS 2024, which will be held in Otsu, Japan, from 2 to 7
June 2024.

Otsu is the capital city of Shiga prefecture and has a long history. It
is located about 10 minutes from Kyoto by train. The venue of the
conference "Budokan" is a facility for various Japanese martial arts
located on the shore of Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan.

ICSLS 2024 aims to bring together researchers from universities and
institutions to stimulate new activities in those fields in which the
spectral line shape is of the utmost importance, including atomic and
molecular physics, precision spectroscopy and fundamental metrology,
plasma physics, astronomical spectroscopy, spectroscopy of planetary
atmospheres and exoplanets, nanophotonics processes, applications of
spectroscopy to environmental, medical and industrial domains.

The conference schedule will be a mix of invited lectures, contributed
talks and poster presentations.

becomes available, so please check the site regularly.
