FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear colleagues,
The Organizing Committee is pleased to inform you that the 
"International Conference on Recent Trends in Geoscience Research and 
Applications 2025" will be held at the Institute of Physics Belgrade in 
Belgrade, Serbia, and virtually on 15-19 September 2025.

AIMS AND SCOPE
Geoscience research and applications are of crucial interest in science 
and many areas of modern life. For this reason, exchanging knowledge in 
various relevant areas is essential for development in scientific, 
engineering, and programming activities. The conference aims to 
highlight the importance of joint research of experts in these fields 
and provide a platform for knowledge exchange.

The topics of this conference are:
     • Atmospheric research
     • Space weather
     • Lithospheric research
     • Geodesy
     • Hydrological research
     • Environmental research
     • Natural hazards
     • Geoinformation technologies

We invite experts from all relevant fields to participate in this 
conference!

REGISTRATION AND CONFERENCE FEES
The registration of participants is open and will be possible until 5 
August 2025. Payment for discounted and reduced registration fee will be 
possible until 20 May 2025. In order to register, please fill in the 
form on the conference website. The registration fees (before and after 
1 September 2023) are: Regular 380 EUR and 450 EUR, Students (280 EUR 
and 350 EUR), Accompanying Persons 150 EUR and 200 EUR, Virtual 
participation 80 EUR and 100 EUR.

The registration fee includes the costs of preparing the conference, 
preparing the Book of Abstracts and Contributed Papers, conference kit, 
welcome cocktail, coffee breaks, excursion, and conference dinner for 
in-situ participants, and welcome cocktail, excursion and conference 
dinner for accompanying persons.

Instructions for payments are given on the conference website.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Financial assistance refers to a reduction in a registration fee. 
Detailed information about financial support is provided on the 
conference website.
The form for financial support is given on the conference website. The 
completed form should be sent to BOTH addresses: sandrast at ipb.ac.rs and 
sdragovic at vin.bg.ac.rs until 10 May 2025.

PUBLICATIONS
Submission of abstracts is mandatory while submissions of contributed 
papers and journal articles are optional. Abstracts (one page) and 
contributed papers (six pages) of contributions should be sent to BOTH 
addresses: sandrast at ipb.ac.rs and sdragovic at vin.bg.ac.rs until 10 May 
2025 (abstracts) and 1 July 2025 (contributed papers). The templates for 
preparing abstracts and contributed papers are available on the 
conference website. The works will be published in the Book of Abstracts 
and Contributed Papers before the conference.

Journals
The works presented at the International Conference on Recent Trends in 
Geoscience Research and Applications 2025 will be selected for several 
journals indexed in WoS and Scopus. Detailed information will be 
provided soon.
In all journals, the submitted manuscripts will be processed with the 
standards of regular research papers. Therefore, the titles and 
abstracts should differ substantially from those published in the Book 
of Abstracts and Contributed Papers.

LOCAL INFORMATION
The conference will be held at the Institute of Physics Belgrade in 
Belgrade. The detailed information about the venue, accommodation, and
