[SPIG 2026 Conference]

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce that the 33rd Summer School and 
International Symposium on the Physics of Ionized Gases (SPIG 2026) 
conference will be held at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, 
Belgrade, Serbia, from August 25 to 28, 2026.

The SPIG conference covers a wide range of topics from fundamental 
studies to applications of ionized gases.
The main topics of the conference are:

1. Atomic collision processes
2. Particle and laser beam interaction with solids
3. Low temperature plasmas
4. General plasmas

We would also like to inform you that two workshops will be organized as 
satellites of SPIG 2026:

• 3rd Workshop on Swarm Physics and Gaseous Dielectrics (SPGD)
• 5th Workshop on X-ray and VUV Interaction with Biomolecules in the Gas 
Phase (XiBiGP)

all information related to registration, accommodation, workshops, and 
abstract submission.

Important dates:
Early registration: June 30, 2026.
Late registration: to be announced
Deadline for abstract submission: May 15, 2026.

achievements.
