I would like to pay your attention to upcoming conference and school on
photonics - PHOTONICA 2017 (28.08-1.09.2017, Blegrade, Serbia) that is
organized by our Photonics Centre.  

It is already sixth in the row and the details can be found in the mail
below and the in the attachment.  

All of you who are interested are welcome to join us at this great
event. Please, feel free to disseminate this announcement to all of your
colleagues that might be interested.

Dear colleagues, 

We are pleased to invite you to participate at the International School
and Conference on Photonics - PHOTONICA2017 to be held IN BELGRADE,
SERBIA, FROM AUGUST 28TH TILL SEPTEMBER 1ST 2017. This conference will
be organized by the Institute of Physics Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia,
Optical Society of Serbia and Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. 

 It is a traditional event, organized biennially and the main topics of
the Conference are: 

     * Quantum optics and ultracold systems
     * Nonlinear optics
     * Optical materials
     * Biophotonics
     * Devices and components
     * Optical communications
     * Laser spectroscopy and metrology
     * Ultrafast optical phenomena
     * Laser - material interaction
     * Optical metamaterials and plasmonics

          and other topics in photonics. 

PHOTONICA2017 will include five days of tutorial talks (2*35 min),
keynote (45 min) and invited lectures (30 min), progress reports (15
min), contributed oral (15 min) and poster presentations. It is
conceived as a school for educating young scientists and the conference
facilitating the exchange of new ideas and knowledge in cutting-edge
research in Europe and beyond.  

Please note that the abstract submission deadline is MAY 31, 2017. 

Reduced fee will apply to registrations confirmed by JUNE 15, 2017. 

Selected peer reviewed contributions will be published in a Special
Issue of OPTICAL AND QUANTUM ELECTRONICS [1 [1]].
