Dear colleagues,

It is a pleasure to announce a mini-workshop on string theory and 
related topics, to be held at the Institute of Physics Belgrade (Zvonko 
Marić lecture hall), on July 29-30 this year (Tuesday and Wednesday next 
week). The program is the following:

Tuesday July 29

11:00 - 12:00 Ruben Monten (CERN): T-Tbar deformed boundary gravitons 
and an S-matrix path integral

12:00 - 14:00 Lunch and discussions

14:00 - 15:00 Marija Tomašević (University of Amsterdam): Recent 
developments on the Horowitz-Polchinski transition

15:00 - 16:00 coffee break

16:00 - 17:00 student talks (15' each)

Wednesday July 30

11:00 - 12:00 Matthew Roberts (University of Iceland): Spindles and the 
RG Flows Betwixt

12:00 - 14:00 Lunch and discussions

14:00 - 15:00 Maurizio Firrotta (University of Crete): Highly excited 
strings and black holes

15:00 - 16:00 coffee break

16:00 - 17:00 Borna Salehian (ICTP): Positivity bounds and 
electromagnetic properties of media

Since the workshop is small and informal, there is no web site, and of 
course no registration or registration fee. Just drop by and enjoy the 
lectures and discussions.
