Dear colleagues,

We are organising the First COST Action MLQC4FC Training School on Machine Learning and Quantum Computing for Future Colliders, which will take place at the Institute of Physics Belgrade from 21 September to 1 October 2026.

The school is primarily aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers working in machine learning, quantum computing, particle physics, future colliders, computational methods, or closely related areas. If you or your students are interested, we warmly encourage you to have a look at the programme and submit an application. Please note that all applications will go through the same competitive selection process.

The scientific programme and all relevant information, including the application form, are available on the school’s Indico page:

https://indico.cern.ch/event/1696287/

The school is funded by the COST Action MLQC4FC, allowing us to keep the participation fee very low (€185 for the full 10-day programme, including coffee breaks, lunches, a social dinner and an excursion). In addition, a limited number of participants may receive COST financial support to help cover travel and subsistence expenses, subject to COST eligibility rules and the available budget.

Please feel free to share the announcement with students or colleagues who might be interested.

We look forward to welcoming you to the school!

Best regards,
Jelena
