Dragutin Sevic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, 1958. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, in 1984, 1991, and 1995, respectively. In 1984, he joined the Institute of Physics Belgrade, where he is now a Research Professor. At the Institute of Physics Belgrade, Dr. Dragutin Sevic has contributed to the design and maintenance of several experimental devices in plasma, nuclear, and atomic physics. His research interests have included photonics, atomic physics, digital signal processing, data acquisition, and plasma physics. His recent research focuses on time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, with the application of machine learning methods for data analysis.
